Digsby is nice. it's a multi IM client (like pidgin) but with a bit more. It gives you all ya updates from Facebook/MySpace, does e-mails. When they add twitter support (and make it portable) it will be perfect.
i love that your setting are saved online, i just install on a new PC, log on with my username/password and all my accounts/setting are remembered.
This is a nice touch, a little widget you can embed in ya blog or profile that people can use to chat with you from the site (i'll stick it in my every growing sidebar, i do love blog bling):
i heard about this on BOL which linked to a ars technica article which in turn gave the invite code "arstechnica" (digby is invite only at the moment but that code seems to still work).
