Debbie does Camden #

One of the most beautiful things i ever saw in Camden Town was a blind girl getting led around the market by her mother. Clutching to her white stick, held tight in front of her as if to protect her. Camden Market is a very noisy place and i always wondered what could of been going on in her head, what angels and demons did her imagination conjuring up. She looked like she was into it, like happy/pensive. Well today (Sunday 20th August 2006) i did a sort of "London Soundscape" thing, so i could close my eyes and try to imagine what she went through. Was she blind from birth so she wouldn't even know what a human looked like. i hope her day was filled with angels... Maybe a few demons ;)

Beautiful Child #

'…the most enchanting, spectacular, beautiful piece of fairytale that I think I'll ever see. I have the strangest feeling today, something in between grief and joy, sad that I will never see that beautiful Little Giant or that gargantuan Elephant and happy that I had the privilege to meet them. Thank you for reminding me how to be a child and for realising that cynicism is not a way of life!' - Londoner, 8th May 2006

Without love you are great

the pavement is full of birth flies today, Birds in a frenzied waltz feast on silver wings.

all beauty is gone
there is nothing left on the earth, there is no beauty anymore
every songs is sung
every art is done
there will never again be greatness in the world
we can now get on with killing ourselves

she tastes like the river

a cold water pool

within the storm the sun came out, shining green leaves against thunder blue
